Kay Montgomery is a beloved part of Vega ISD, and her sweet disposition and contagious laughter is one that we all love and cherish. While she worked here, her kindness and generosity touched every student she came into contact with. Each morning, the first thing every Vega Elementary student was greeted with was a smile from Ms. Kay as they walked through the door.
Currently, Ms. Kay is undergoing chemo-therapy. To support Ms. Kay and her family, the Vega High School Student Council would like your help in creating a special project for her. For this project, we are writing messages of support, inspiration, and encouragement on special hearts.
If you would like to leave a special message, the materials for you to write one will be located in the high school office. If you live out of town or are unable to come by the high school office, a link to a google form will be available for you to fill out*, and STUCO members will transfer the message onto the hearts.
Please have all messages completed or submitted no later than Thursday, 29 February 2024.
STUCO greatly appreciates your help in supporting a person who played such a positive role in our childhood. Miss Kay has impacted all of our lives in a special way, and we would like to help her through this journey.
Sincerely,
Vega High School STUCO
