The Vega ISD Wellness Page has been created to inform and update the public about the content and implemenation of the local wellness policy.  Updates and revisions to the policy, as well as notices of SHAC meetings where the wellness policy or corresponding documents will be discussed, will be posted here. 

The Vega ISD SHAC (School Health Advisory Council) has been established and currently consists of parents, a student representative, the school nurse, administration, the school cafeteria manager, and the school counselor.  Students, parents, staff, and/or community members are welcome to join the committee and/or attend meetings.  Please see the meeting schedule below.  For specific questions about joining the SHAC, feel free to contact the SHAC Co-Chair, Cayla Blasingame, at 806-267-2126 or cayla.blasingame@region16.net.
